  • Purpose: Wyre Forest District Council became a partner in the Warmer Worcestershire Network to tackle climate change and fuel poverty. The Warmer Worcestershire Network aims to do this by cutting emissions, lowering energy usage and improving energy efficiency across businesses and households.

  • Description: The Warmer Worcestershire Network is a partnership of local authorities and community organisations, including an energy advice charity, which seeks to help residents tackle fuel poverty. The network provides access to advice and resources, such as schemes residents are eligible for to help them lower their energy bills. Residents are directed to schemes such as Solar Together and the Household Support Fund.

  • Funding: The measures accessible to residents to help combat climate change and tackle fuel poverty are funded from a variety of government funds. The Household Support Fund is funded by the government, and Worcestershire has received over £19 million from it in total.

  • Conservative councillor/ council lead: Cllr Dan Morehead
