Blair and Hague like ‘two old guys on park bench setting world to rights’

Lord Hague has said that he and Sir Tony Blair are like “two old guys on a park bench setting the world to rights”, as he revealed the pair have put aside their political differences.

The former Conservative Party leader and ex-Labour prime minister have made several joint written interventions on science and technology, including co-authoring a paper last year.

Lord Hague will address the Conservative Environment Network on Tuesday, where he will set out how future governments should navigate environmental issues.
