About the event

The Iran-US war has highlighted the urgent need to strengthen our energy security. Continuing to rely on imports exposes the UK to skyrocketing energy and fuel bills, with our energy supply vulnerable to the whims of hostile petrostates.

In the face of these threats, increasing domestic production and diversifying our energy sources can help reduce this hole in our security. But what does this look like in practice?

Join David Reed MP and Sam Richards at our upcoming energy security webinar to discuss how we strengthen our energy security, asking questions like: Will drilling more North Sea oil and gas protect us from future energy crises? What role should clean energy play? Can we rely on clean energy without becoming over reliant on Chinese supply chains and critical minerals?
