About the event
Aviation is responsible for 7 per cent of the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions. But does net zero mean the end of flying as we know it? The government’s ambitious Jet Zero strategy set a target to make the industry net zero by 2050 so people can fly “guilt-free”. How can Conservatives encourage innovation and technology to solve the problem, or will the UK have to restrict flying to reach the target?
