About the event

Join us at the International Democrat Union (IDU) conference in London next week, where we will be holding a panel on conservative environmental leadership as the global alliance of centre-right parties celebrates its 40th anniversary.

In an era where environmental challenges, economic prosperity and national security are intricately linked, how should the centre-right work together to tackle climate change and build a safer, more prosperous world?

How do we use free market principles to maximise the opportunities a carbon-neutral future offers? And what policies can we implement to achieve our environmental targets that align with conservative values?

Our panel of senior conservative leaders from around the world will discuss these questions, the challenges of the green transition, and more.

🇬🇧 CEN MP Vicky Ford, former Minister for Development

🇱🇰 President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe

🇲🇳 Elbegdorj Tsakhia, former President of Mongolia

🇩🇪 CDU MP Thomas Heilmann, Chairman of KlimaUnion

The event is free to attend at One Great George Street, London, SW1P 3AA, on Monday, 19 June, between 5 to 6 pm.
