A Director in the Public Affairs team at global business consultancy, FTI Consulting, Amy has significant experience advising clients on their engagement with stakeholders from governments, regulators and communities to academics, third parties and NGOs. Amy works to support clients in improving their relationships, corporate communications, legislative agenda, lobbying and coalition building.
Working across a range of regulated industries, Amy maintains a focus and expertise in the energy and infrastructure sector. Supporting international clients, Amy’s work extends across the energy and environment spectrum – from oil & gas to European renewable energy policy, climate change, new and disruptive technologies as well as green finance and ESG investing.
Barney is Head of Policy at RenewableUK, where he leads work on the transition to a low carbon, smart energy system, based on renewable generation. His work includes market and system reform, industrial strategy and supply chains, among other things.
Prior to joining the team at RenewableUK he was part of the energy and climate change team at the CBI, where he led work on energy costs, supply side policy and international climate change, representing British business at the Paris COP. His career began working for Mark Harper, MP for the Forest of Dean, which got him up to speed on regulatory and Parliamentary issues. He enjoys cooking with lots of butter, and cycling to counteract its effects.
Naomi co-founded Newington Communication’s energy and environment practice and is now the company’s Chief Operating Officer. In the last decade she has led campaigns on air quality, renewable energy, clean investment, chemical standards and energy efficiency.
She is passionate about unlocking the potential of the UK’s burgeoning environmental sector, ensuring the market delivers a fair deal for consumers and protecting natural resources for future generations to enjoy. Naomi is a former reporter and winner of Press Gazette Regional Young Journalist of the Year.
Robert was recently Senior Parliamentary Officer at the RSPB - the U.K. & Europe’s largest nature conservation charity. This involved leading on the charity’s political engagement in Westminster and delivering key events such as the first ever Green Heart Hero Awards.
Prior to this, Robert worked for over 5 years in the office of Andrew Percy MP, which included stints in Westminster and in the Brigg & Goole Constituency. Robert graduated from York University and is a keen birdwatcher, which fits alongside a broader passion for the natural environment and our wonderful countryside.
Marc is Senior Development Manager for an international advocacy organization focused on ocean conservation. With a Development/Communications background, Marc works to promote UK/EU campaigns to defend sustainable fisheries, minimise single-use plastics reaching the ocean, reduce illegal fishing, and build an effective network of Marine Protected Areas.
Marc enjoys working for a truly global organisation with the opportunity to collaborate and learn from campaign offices in the United States, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Belize, and the Philippines to revitalize and restore ocean abundance. Marc has previously worked for the Conservative Party as a Campaign Manager.
